Plot

A team of reclusive scholars dedicated to compiling an exhaustive encyclopedia faces a dilemma when one member realizes his research on slang is woefully outdated. Eager to update his knowledge, he steps outside their academic bubble and encounters Sugarpuss O’Shea, a savvy nightclub singer who embodies the latest lingo. Coincidentally, she’s searching for a place to stay, leading to an unexpected partnership that blends academia with the vibrant world of nightlife, sparking both intellectual curiosity and romantic tensions amidst their contrasting lifestyles.
