Plot

A decade post-Civil War, the Governor of Texas enlists Leander McNelly to assemble a unit of Rangers tasked with enforcing law along the Mexican border. McNelly gathers a team, primarily composed of war veterans, but the majority are inexperienced young men lacking formal training in firearms and crime-fighting. As they navigate the challenges of their new roles, these recruits must learn quickly to confront the lawlessness that plagues the region, forging a path toward justice in a turbulent landscape.
