Plot
Kirby Frye, a former Confederate officer turned Union Cavalry scout, embarks on a mission in Montana territory to track down three stolen Gatling Guns. These weapons, taken by outlaws from the U.S. Arsenal, are rumored to be headed for sale to the Sioux and Cheyenne tribes. His investigation leads him to Red Bluff, where he teams up with Claire Corville. Together, they uncover that Martin Gavin, the seemingly trustworthy owner of a freight line, is behind the theft and plans to trade the guns to the Native Americans in exchange for furs.
