Plot

With Napoleon banished to Elba and Britain settling after the wars, Major Richard Sharpe faces his own form of exile, now commanding a company of Yorkshire Yeomen. Tasked with safeguarding mill owners from increasingly agitated workers threatening to strike, Sharpe grapples with his responsibilities. Complicating matters, his unfaithful wife and her lover come into his sights, igniting a personal conflict. Supported by his loyal Chosen Men, Sharpe must choose between upholding the interests of the mill owners or standing in solidarity with the oppressed workforce yearning for justice.
