Plot

Clay Santell finds himself in Sutterville after his horse is stolen, but soon faces an unexpected twist when the locals confuse him with the notorious murderer, Travers. Captured and handed over to the weary lawman Harry Deckett, who is eager to end his pursuit of the real killer, Santell narrowly escapes, inadvertently taking the beautiful Janet Gifford hostage. As Janet learns of Santell's innocence, she becomes his ally, aiding him in his quest to clear his name and reveal his true identity amidst the chaos.
