Joseph Ruskin
Joseph Ruskin, born on April 14, 1924, and passing away on December 28, 2013, was a distinguished American character actor known for his extensive work in film and television. Throughout his career, Ruskin became recognized for his memorable roles within the iconic Star Trek franchise. He was one of only four actors to appear in both the original Star Trek series, which debuted in 1966, and its later iterations, including Star Trek: Enterprise, which aired in 2001. He also portrayed a Vulcan Master in an episode of Star Trek: Voyager, further solidifying his place in the sci-fi genre.
In addition to his work in Star Trek, Ruskin made notable appearances in the classic anthology series The Twilight Zone, lending his voice to the Kanamits in the acclaimed episode "To Serve Man" and portraying the Genie in "The Man in the Bottle." He also appeared in the sci-fi series The Outer Limits in the episode "Production and Decay of Strange Particles," showcasing his versatility as an actor.
