Plot

When teenager Daniel LaRusso relocates to Los Angeles with his mother, he quickly develops a romance with Ali. However, he soon becomes a target for a group of bullies led by her former boyfriend, Johnny, who trains at the harsh Cobra Kai dojo under the strict guidance of sensei John Kreese. Lucky for Daniel, he meets Mr. Miyagi, a humble handyman with a hidden talent for martial arts. With Miyagi's guidance, Daniel learns a more empathetic approach to karate for self-defense and ultimately prepares to face the fierce Cobra Kai in a tournament.
