Plot

Bandleader Kay Kyser faces a major dilemma when his lead singer unexpectedly departs, leaving him struggling to find a suitable replacement. Despite numerous auditions, none of the candidates seem to meet his high standards, causing frustration within the band. As Kyser searches for the right voice, he navigates the ups and downs of the music industry and the complexities of teamwork.
