Plot

Sen no Rikyu, born to a humble fishmonger, immerses himself in the art of tea, ultimately shaping the Japanese tea ceremony with his refined aesthetics. His talent captures the attention of Toyotomi Hideyoshi, the most powerful figure in Japan, who brings Rikyu into his inner circle. However, political tensions lead to a tragic turn when Hideyoshi demands Rikyu take his own life through seppuku.
