Plot

Courtney, a young journalist, is tasked with covering the story of a woman whose husband died during a strange voodoo ceremony. He brings along his passionate wife, Connie, to New Orleans. There, Connie becomes entangled in a secret romance with a local man. As she falls deeper under his influence, she brazenly displays her infidelity to Courtney, ultimately choosing to leave him for her new lover and the world of voodoo. Faced with a mix of anger over her betrayal and concern for her safety, Courtney must make a critical decision about their future in the intense climax.
