Plot

December 1941 finds the German forces advancing toward Moscow, and pilot Nikolai Komlev is determined to halt their progress. During a crucial mission, his IL-2 is downed, forcing him to crash-land in a desolate forest. Alone and injured, Komlev confronts a brutal fight for survival against harsh winter conditions, starvation, and lurking wolves, all while evading Nazi soldiers. After an arduous journey, he ultimately reaches safety, only to discover that the toughest battle lies ahead, one that will profoundly change his life forever.
