Plot
Frank Rocci, a smooth-talking racketeer, finds himself enchanted by Joan Whelan, a talented dancer at Texas Guinan's renowned Broadway club. In a bid to win her affection, he leverages his connections to secure her a leading role in the show. After the performance becomes a success, Joan agrees to marry Frank, primarily out of appreciation rather than true love. However, things complicate when she develops feelings for a charming band leader during a Florida getaway. Now, she faces the daunting challenge of confessing her newfound love for someone else to Frank.
