Plot

A Confederate veteran is on a quest to find a doctor who can help his son regain his voice, lost since witnessing his mother perish in a fire. His search takes a detour when he is wrongfully jailed for a barroom brawl in a small town. A compassionate local woman pays his bail, but demands he work off the debt on her ranch. As he adjusts to ranch life, he becomes entwined in her battle against a greedy landowner whose sons orchestrated his wrongful accusation, igniting a struggle for justice and survival.
