Plot
In "Amen," Kurt Gerstein, an official from the Waffen-SS's Institute for Hygiene, grapples with his moral conscience after witnessing the atrocities of the death camps. His horror intensifies when he discovers that the chemical Zyklon-B, which he had previously utilized to purify water for soldiers, is now being repurposed as a lethal gas in the chambers used to execute innocent lives. This shocking revelation compels him to confront the brutal reality of his involvement and the chilling misuse of science in the service of genocide.
