In "Full Moon in Blue Water," Floyd, a bar owner along the Texas coast, struggles with deep sorrow a year after his wife's tragic drowning. He resides with his confused father-in-law, known as "The General," and receives support from Jimmy, a kind-hearted ex-patient from a mental institution, and the warm-hearted Louise. As business dwindles, Charlie seeks to purchase the bar at a low price before news of an impending bridge construction spreads. Louise proposes a partnership using her savings, but Floyd ultimately opts to sell the bar to settle his overdue taxes.
