Plot
Set in 1930s Korea during Japanese occupation, Sookee is hired as a handmaiden for the reclusive heiress Hideko, who lives under the strict control of her uncle, Kouzuki. Unbeknownst to Hideko, Sookee is a cunning pickpocket working with a conman masquerading as a Japanese Count. Their scheme involves seducing Hideko to elope, steal her wealth, and confine her in an asylum. However, as the plan unfolds, both women find themselves entangled in unforeseen feelings, complicating their intentions and altering the course of their lives forever.
