Plot

Adib, once a rising star in the Syrian military police, fled Damascus 25 years ago under mysterious conditions, leaving behind his beloved Fatima. Now settled in Canada, he thought he had escaped his past—until his daughter Muna goes missing in Syria. The shadows of his former life resurface as he partners with a Canadian diplomat to navigate the treacherous landscape of his homeland. Determined to rescue Muna, Adib faces the ghosts of his history and the dangerous reality he hoped to leave behind.
