Sanky Panky (2007)

Plot

In a struggling Dominican neighborhood, Genaro helps run a family store while dreaming of a better life for his mother and himself. Inspired by her desire to marry an American tourist for a chance at a U.S. visa, he contacts his friend Giuseppe, a hotel manager, hoping to entertain guests and meet wealthy tourists. At the resort, he encounters the lovely Martha, who is trying to escape her broken engagement with the support of her aunts. Despite their language barrier, their connection grows, but the arrival of Martha's ex complicates their budding romance.
