Czech photographer Josef Koudelka, who grew up under the Iron Curtain, has always been curious about what lies beyond. Four decades after his powerful documentation of the 1968 Soviet invasion of Prague, he travels to Israel and Palestine. The sight of the towering nine-meter wall in the West Bank profoundly affects him, prompting a four-year exploration of the region's stark realities of violence and conflict. Director Gilad Baram, Koudelka's assistant during this period, captures the artist's journey through the Holy Land, showcasing its breathtaking landscapes and the poignant stories within.
