Plot

Julie, a 13-year-old grappling with her mother’s death, is sent to live with her grandmother Karen in Indiana. Once a celebrated actress, Karen now faces the early onset of Alzheimer's and is determined to share her wisdom with Julie before time runs out. As they navigate their complicated relationship, both must confront their grief and embrace the opportunity for connection. Can the bond between grandmother and granddaughter deepen despite their struggles, or will the shadows of the past prevent them from truly understanding one another?
