Renowned Chinese artist Ma Liang, known as Maleonn, grapples with his father's Alzheimer's diagnosis. In an effort to connect and preserve their shared history, he invites his father, Ma Ke, a distinguished Peking Opera director, to co-create an evocative stage production titled "Papa's Time Machine." Featuring lifelike mechanical puppets, this poignant autobiographical performance allows them to explore themes of mortality and memory. As they navigate this artistic endeavor, both men confront their fears of time slipping away, striving to capture fleeting moments before they fade into oblivion.
