Plot

Balkan Prince Henry yearns to experience authentic America and meet his idol, Lauren Bacall. While befriending cab driver Buzz Williams, the two unwittingly broadcast a lively debate about democracy versus monarchy back to Henry's homeland, resulting in a plebiscite that costs him his royal position. Seeking a fresh start, he travels to Milwaukee to pursue a career in beer sales. Fate intervenes when he finds himself seated next to Bacall, only to have his dream dashed when Humphrey Bogart taps him on the shoulder, demanding Henry's seat.
