Plot

Set against the backdrop of Romania prior to Ceausescu's fall, Nela's journey unfolds as the daughter of a former Securitate colonel. Rejecting her sister's path as a secret police agent, she chooses to live with her father until his death. Grieving and seeking change, Nela departs from Bucharest, eventually finding herself in a quaint town. There, she crosses paths with Mitica, a surgeon who shares her irreverent outlook on life. Together, they navigate their pasts, finding solace and laughter amid the shadows of a repressive regime.
