Plot

Tora-san arrives back at his family's home only to discover that his brother-in-law is unable to attend his nephew Mitsuo's athletic event. Eager to help, Tora-san steps in, but a confrontation with his brother-in-law's boss leads him back to his wandering lifestyle. While traveling through Niigata, he encounters a young woman who captivates him, unaware that she is a renowned enka singer.
