Cartagena (2009)

Plot

Muriel, a vibrant woman confined to her bed after a tragic accident, hires Leo, a washed-up ex-boxer struggling with alcohol and lacking qualifications. Despite her reservations, she gives him a chance to be her caregiver and cook. At first, Leo feels overwhelmed, but as he gradually earns Muriel's trust, their relationship deepens. Through their interactions, she helps him learn to read, while he encourages her to rediscover the beauty of life outside her window. Together, they embark on a journey of healing and self-discovery.
