Christopher Lambert
Christophe Guy Denis "Christopher" Lambert, born on March 29, 1957, is an accomplished American-born French actor renowned for his work in both Hollywood and European cinema. He gained widespread fame for his iconic portrayal of Connor MacLeod, known as "The Highlander," in the cult classic film and its subsequent franchise. Lambert’s versatility as an actor is further highlighted by his performance as Tarzan in *Greystoke: The Legend of Tarzan, Lord of the Apes*, and as Raiden, the thunder god, in the original *Mortal Kombat* film.
In his personal life, Lambert was married to actress Diane Lane from 1988 until their divorce in 1994, with whom he shares a daughter, Eleanor Jasmine. He later wed Jaiymse Haft on February 6, 1999, and has been in a long-term relationship with actress Sophie Marceau since 2007. The couple appeared together in the film *La disparue de Deauville* and married in 2012.
Despite facing significant challenges due to profound myopia, which leaves him virtually blind without glasses, Lambert continues to perform and undertake his own stunts, albeit with caution. His unique gaze has been noted as part of his on-screen charm. Additionally, he is the founder of Lamb Bear Productions, a name creatively inspired by his own. Lambert's contributions to film and his distinct persona have secured his place in cinematic history.
