Plot
In the 1987 film "Suspect," the tragic suicide of a Supreme Court judge and the subsequent murder of his secretary lead to Carl Anderson, a deaf and mute homeless veteran, being accused of the crimes. However, public defender Kathleen Riley, who is tasked with his defense, starts to suspect that Anderson is not guilty. Teaming up with juror Eddie Sanger, a lobbyist from Washington, they delve into the case, uncovering hidden truths and seeking justice for the wrongly accused. Their investigation challenges the assumptions made by the legal system and reveals deeper conspiracies at play.
