Plot

Fingers, a bumbling thief, leads a less-than-stellar gang of crooks. Their attempt to rob the cunning Billy Gordon, who is suspicious of banks and wary of tax authorities, ends in failure. Desperate, they pivot to kidnapping Gordon's daughter, but mistakenly abduct his wife, Lucy. To everyone's surprise, Gordon feigns delight over the mishap, allowing Lucy to take control of the inept criminals. As she navigates the chaos, her leadership transforms the situation, leading to unexpected twists for both the gang and the Gordon family.
