Plot
Set in 1960s Spain, a struggling quinqui family grapples with the harsh realities of life as nomads. Eleuterio Sánchez Rodriguez, known as "El Lute," finds himself imprisoned for stealing chickens. After his release, he relocates to the fringes of Madrid with his partner, Chelo, and begins a life selling pots and pans in a quinqui shantytown. However, desperation leads him deeper into crime, culminating in a jewelry heist that tragically results in a bystander’s death, further entangling him in a cycle of poverty and criminality.
