Plot

Adam Bartlett launched Gilead Media in 2005, initially focusing on limited releases of LPs and CDs. Today, the label has gained international acclaim for its black metal, doom, and noise rock offerings. Along with partner Dave Adelson from 20 Buck Spin, they host Migration Fest biennially, drawing heavy music enthusiasts from around the globe to connect and perform. Through a mix of live shows, interviews, and behind-the-scenes moments, the film explores the musicians' creative processes and how they channel personal struggles, including trauma and loss, into their art. Notable appearances include members from Thou, Neurosis, and Emma Ruth Rundle, among others.
