Plot

Luisa and Gabino return to their family in a northern Mexican mining town, where tensions run high. Their father shows unexpected interest when Luisa's boyfriend, an aspiring actor, performs as a narco kingpin. Meanwhile, Gabino navigates the strained family dynamics by retreating into an imagined world filled with detectives and organized crime. As the siblings grapple with their complicated relationships, the lines between reality and fantasy blur, revealing deeper truths about their lives and the narratives they create to cope with their circumstances.
