Plot

Kumiko enters her second year as a senior in the euphonium section, facing the challenge of mentoring a group of new underclassmen in the concert band. Alongside third-year trumpeter Tomoe Kabe, she guides the diverse and quirky newcomers, including the enigmatic euphonist Kanade Hisaishi, the struggling tuba player Mirei Suzuki, her supportive sister Satsuki, and the shy double bassist Motomu Tsukinaga. As they prepare for the Sunrise Festival and tackle chair placement auditions, tensions rise, revealing personal struggles and the bonds that form through music and teamwork.
