Mercenary Fighters (1988)

Plot

An African president aims to enhance his country’s economy by constructing a dam, disregarding the outcry from local tribes facing displacement. To suppress the ensuing rebellion without military intervention, he recruits four mercenaries to locate and silence the tribal leader, Kuruba. Among them, Vietnam veterans T.J. and Cliff begin to question their mission upon understanding the tribes' plight. As they grapple with their moral compass, their loyalties shift, leading to a pivotal decision that could alter the course of the conflict and the fate of the tribes.
