Plot

Victor Danemore, a wealthy tycoon residing on the French Riviera, unexpectedly passes away from a heart attack. His intrigued secretary, Dave Bishop, sets out to uncover the truth about Danemore's enigmatic life. Astonishingly, even his young wife is unaware of her husband's past or the source of his wealth. Bishop's investigation takes him to Vienna and Stockholm, where he uncovers a dark secret: Danemore was involved in blackmailing individuals who had aided the Nazis during World War II. The revelation of such a sinister history complicates the legacy left behind.
