Plot
Anna, a privileged housewife in Hong Kong, grapples with a life of luxury that quickly unravels when her husband departs, taking their wealth and status with him. Unwilling to confront her new reality, she clings to her former life. Meanwhile, Fai, her devoted chauffeur, struggles with his own challenges, living in a stark barrack across the border in Shenzhen. He is desperate to bring his pregnant wife into Hong Kong to safely deliver their child, defying the oppressive one-child policy. Their lives intertwine as they navigate love, loss, and the quest for a better future.
