Plot

Simon, a bright but neglected young man from a wealthy family, feels suffocated by their high expectations of him graduating from Princeton. In a desperate bid for attention, he turns to petty crime, leading to his enrollment in a boarding school. There, he forms a bond with a free-spirited "Deadhead," immersing himself in the counterculture lifestyle. As he explores a world of drugs and rebellion, Simon grapples with his quest for acceptance and identity amid the pressures of his privileged upbringing.
