Plot

After being adopted as a child, new dad Mel Colpin feels the need to uncover his roots before naming his son. He embarks on a cross-country journey to locate his biological parents. Joined by his wife, Nancy, and a beautiful yet clumsy adoption agent named Tina, Mel's adventure spirals into a comedic whirlwind filled with identity mix-ups, unexpected detours, and overly enthusiastic ATF agents who are infatuated with Tina. What begins as a heartfelt quest soon becomes a chaotic and hilarious escapade.
