Josh Brolin
Josh James Brolin, born on February 12, 1968, is a prominent American actor. He is the son of actor James Brolin and first captured public attention in his youth with his performance in the classic adventure film The Goonies, released in 1985. After experiencing a period of relative obscurity, Brolin made a notable comeback with his leading role in the critically acclaimed crime drama No Country for Old Men in 2007. His portrayal of Dan White in the biopic Milk in 2008 earned him an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor.
Brolin's career continued to flourish as he appeared in a variety of films, including W. (2008), True Grit (2010), Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps (2010), Men in Black 3 (2012), Oldboy (2013), Inherent Vice (2014), Everest (2015), and Hail, Caesar! (2016). He gained significant fame for his role as Thanos in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, featuring prominently in Avengers: Infinity War (2018) and Avengers: Endgame (2019), as well as portraying Cable in Deadpool 2 (2018). Additionally, Brolin partnered with director Denis Villeneuve in the action thriller Sicario (2015) and starred in the science fiction films Dune (2021) and its sequel Dune: Part Two (2024), where he took on the role of Gurney Halleck.
