Plot
Set against the backdrop of World War II, a young Czechoslovakian pilot, Second Lieutenant Jandak, joins a fighter squadron on the Eastern Front. As he navigates the challenges of war, Jandak experiences the thrill of aerial combat and the pangs of first love. Amidst the camaraderie and dangers faced by his fellow pilots, he learns that their struggles mirror those of their counterparts in the West.
