Plot

In "Yolanda and the Thief," Johnny Riggs, a charming conman on the run, seeks asylum in the imaginary Latin-American country of Patria. There, he encounters Yolanda, a sheltered heiress struggling with her financial woes and praying for help. Taking advantage of her vulnerability, Riggs pretends to be her savior, earning her trust while plotting to abscond with her wealth. However, as he prepares to make his getaway with his accomplice, Riggs finds himself unexpectedly falling for Yolanda. Conflicted between his deceitful plans and his genuine feelings, he resolves to return the stolen money, only to face unforeseen challenges in escaping Patria.
