Plot
Set in the late 1950s, Germany enjoys a period of economic revival while largely ignoring the atrocities of its past. Amidst this indifference, prosecutor Fritz Bauer remains resolute in his quest for justice against former Nazis. A breakthrough arrives when he receives a letter from Argentina, claiming that a man’s daughter is involved with Adolf Eichmann’s son. Recognizing the potential for justice, Bauer risks everything by traveling to Jerusalem to ally with Mossad, the Israeli secret service. His choice to engage in what could be seen as treason is driven by a deep commitment to his country’s moral reckoning.
