Duck Soup (1927)

Plot

Escaping from forest rangers on the lookout for tramps to recruit as firefighters, Laurel and Hardy find refuge in a vacant mansion. With the owner away, Hardy takes on the role of the homeowner, attempting to rent the house to an unsuspecting English couple. Laurel poses as the maid in their charade. However, their plans unravel when the real owner unexpectedly returns, revealing his identity to the renters. Once again on the run, the duo is captured by the rangers and reluctantly drafted into battling wildfires.
