Plot

Eddy has spent 25 years secretly working as a "standover" man to fulfill his family’s desires, striving to provide his wife with her dream home and offer their daughter a privileged life. As Chantelle prepares for her engagement, she feels disconnected from her emotionally reserved father, who seems only capable of expressing anger. Eager to reconnect, Eddy delves into Chantelle’s diary, inadvertently unearthing unexpected secrets that lead to both comedic and poignant moments.
