Plot

After a torpedo sinks her ship, a newlywed WREN is believed to have perished at sea. Instead, she survives for three years on a remote tropical island. Upon finally returning to England, she discovers her husband has moved on, marrying another woman and starting a family with a young son. Struggling with the painful reality of her lost life, she must confront her past and the bittersweet truth of love and loss in a world that has moved forward without her.
