Plot

Canaan, a haunted gunfighter nearly blinded by his experiences in the Civil War, wanders the Mexican landscape with an infant he has vowed to safeguard. His journey leads him to a town where the child is supposed to find a new home. However, in a border town, he discovers U.S. Cavalry officers besieged by ruthless bandits while transporting a silver shipment. Despite his hesitations, Canaan feels compelled to intervene and assist the beleaguered soldiers, showcasing his bravery and sense of duty amidst danger.
