Plot

A devastating forest fire ignites in the Montana mountains, prompting a team of Smoke Jumpers—elite paratroopers from the U.S. Forest Service—to be dispatched from Missoula. Led by Cliff Mason, the Forest Rangers battle the inferno, but the tragedy claims several firefighters’ lives. Ed Miller, the son of one of the fallen rangers, harbors resentment towards Mason, believing his father's death resulted from the leader's cowardice. Consumed by a desire for justice, Ed embarks on a mission to expose what he perceives as Mason’s failings amidst the chaos of the raging fire.
