Plot
Roger Mason finds himself trapped in a high-tech prison, yearning to reunite with his daughter. His repeated escape attempts are thwarted at the last moment, leading to severe punishments that include years spent in suspended animation. While he remains unchanged, his daughter ages, deepening his sense of hopelessness. Each failed bid for freedom adds to his sentence, leaving Roger in a state of despair as he grapples with the reality that time is slipping away from him, both in his captivity and in his relationship with his child.
