Plot

Emma Rice's vibrant and boundary-pushing interpretation of Shakespeare's comedy is captured on the final night at London's Globe Theatre. The plot revolves around four fleeing lovers who unwittingly become entangled in a conflict between the fairy King and Queen. Adding to the chaos, a group of bumbling amateur actors attempts to rehearse a play of their own. At the center of this whirlwind is Puck, a mischievous sprite wielding a love potion that causes unpredictable romantic entanglements. With so many elements in play, chaos and comedy are sure to ensue.
