Plot

Set in 13th century France, survival hinges on choosing the right weapon: the sword of war or the sword of knowledge. Two estranged brothers find themselves on opposing sides. Thomas, a scarred mercenary, returns home to discover his mother, the healer, has died, passing her wisdom to his younger brother, Arnaud. However, Arnaud has suffered memory loss from a vicious attack by outlaws. Guillemette, Arnaud's determined wife, steps in to rally Thomas, urging him to reclaim their family’s legacy and restore Arnaud’s lost skills in a quest for healing and redemption.
