Plot

Dee, a young single mother of four in a small Texas town, finds her life turned upside down when she's wrongfully arrested during a drug raid. Rejecting a plea deal that would label her a felon, she defies her mother, Alma, and uncovers a troubling pattern of injustice affecting similar families nationwide. Determined to fight back against the powerful district attorney, Calvin Beckett, Dee teams up with ACLU lawyer David Cohen and former narcotics officer Sam Conroy.
